Google Drive Configuration Process

Follow the procedure to set Google Drive as your Storage type in EmpMonitor.

 

Note:- (Follow the mentioned steps to Get Client ID, Client Secret, and Refresh Token).

 

Step 1). Search  “Google Drive Console” Keyword in Google (See the screenshot below).

Step 2). Click on Enable the Google Drive API | Google Developers (See the screenshot below).

Step 3). Click on Google API Console (See the screenshot below).

Step 4). Click on CREATE PROJECT  (See the screenshot below).

Step 5). Enter any Project name and click on Create button (See the screenshot below).

Step 6). Click on + ENABLE AND SERVICES (See the screenshot below).

Step 7). Search for Google Drive and click on Google Drive API (See the screenshot below).

Step 8). Click on the ENABLE button (See the screenshot below).

Step 9). Click on the CREATE CREDENTIALS button (See the screenshot below).

Step 10). Click on the client ID (See the screenshot below).

Step 11). Click on the Configure consent screen button (See the screenshot below).

Step 12). Select any option Internal or External and then click on the CREATE button (See the screenshot below).

Step 13). Enter any Application name, check Email ID which you have used, Enable the Google Drive Storage type from Support email option (See the screenshot below).

 

 

 









Step 14).
 Next, on the same page- Click on the Save and continue  button (See the screenshot below).

                   Enter the Email id from which you are creating the storage in google Drive.

 

 

Step 15.1)For scope  section click on Save and continue (See the screenshot below).

 



 

Step 15.2) Then click on Add user then add a new user by adding your valid drive mail id 

15.3 Then click on Save and continue 

15.4 Then click on Oauth Consent screen 


15.5 Click on PUBLISH APP

15.6 Click on Confirm

15.7 Then make it to In Production


 

Step 16). Click on +CREATE CREDENTIALS button then select the OAuth client Id option from the dropdown menu (See the screenshot below).

Step 17). Select Application type as Web application (See the screenshot below).

Step 18). Then enter any name in Name option ,enter Application redirect URls https://developers.google.com/oauthplayground and then click on Create button (See the screenshot below).

Step 19). You will get Client ID and Client Secret, copy and save those date into one place (See the screenshot below).

Step 20).Open this URL in new tab https://developers.google.com/oauthplayground (See the screenshot below).

Step 21).Click on Setting icon and Copy the Client ID and Client Secret at same place as shown in the image (See the screenshot below).

Step 22).Scroll and Select Drive API v3 (See the screenshot below).

Step 23).After you click on Drive API v3, select  Authorize APIs (See the screenshot below).Have to select ‘https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file’ or Select First all four Apis

 

 

Step 24).Select your account which you are using for enabling Google Drive API (See the screenshot below).

Step 25)And make sure this Unverified page should not come

Step 26).After step:- 24 User should be redirected to this page Click on Allow (See the screenshot below).

Step 28). Again Click on Allow (See the screenshot below).

Step 29).Click on Exchange authorization code for tokens button (See the screenshot below).

Step 30). You will get the Refresh Token. Copy it and save the refresh token (See the screenshot below)..

After following the above mentioned steps correctly, you will get the Client IDClient Secret,  and Refresh Token. Copy all three of them in the Admin panel’s Setting Module Google Drive Storage type section.
